New Learners
New Learners receive warm, structured bilingual support that helps them understand Spanish and begin speaking with confidence.
Through routines, visuals, songs, movement, and repetition, staff guide children step by step. English is used intentionally to support comprehension, then gradually phased out as understanding grows.
Ideal for families seeking a gentle, beginner-friendly Spanish immersion camp.

Heritage & Academic Understanders
Understanders often comprehend Spanish but feel hesitant speaking it. At ¡Viva Verano!, these campers are gently pushed to use Spanish every day through fun, structured activities like partner games, sentence starters, and call-and-response routines.
Mistakes are welcome, confidence is built, and speaking becomes natural through daily practice in a supportive environment.
Perfect for children who understand Spanish and are ready to start speaking it comfortably.

Heritage & Confident Speakers
Speakers already know Spanish at home or in from school. At ¡Viva Verano!, these children are encouraged to use Spanish confidently every day. Our program expands vocabulary, builds strong sentence structure, and inspires creativity through storytelling, discussion, and projects. Staff model clear, age-appropriate Spanish to help children express themselves fully.
Ideal for proficient children looking for a Spanish language camp that deepens fluency.

At ¡Viva Verano!, campers are grouped by Spanish proficiency—not age—to support confident, effective language learning. Families complete a brief at-home language check, and staff gently confirms each child’s level on the first day. Learning with peers at a similar stage helps children participate fully and grow faster, while still enjoying games, projects, and community activities with campers their own age throughout the day.
